On January 21, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev left for a working visit to the city of Davos, Switzerland. During the visit, the head of our state will participate in the ceremony of signing the Peace Council system at the invitation of US President Donald Trump.
Earlier, President Mirziyoyev accepted the proposal to join the council as a founding state.
In his letter to the US President, the head of state emphasized that this initiative is assessed as an important step towards resolving long-standing conflicts in the Middle East and ensuring peace and stability in the wider region.
