On January 21, another charter flight was carried out by the competent authorities of this state for the purpose of deporting individuals who were illegally present in the territory of the United States. This was reported by the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It is noted that 44 citizens of Uzbekistan were repatriated on this flight. The charter flight was organized in cooperation with the relevant government agencies of the United States.
It was additionally stated that the implementation of the flight ensured the safe and timely return of Uzbek citizens to the country.
"This event is another important example of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United States. Cooperation continues to ensure the safety of our citizens in other countries, protect their legal rights, and repatriate them to their Homeland," the report says.
