According to the President's decree of February 16, the maximum amount of mortgage loans will be increased.

According to the decree, 12.2 trillion soums will be allocated from the state budget, 7.8 trillion soums from commercial banks, and 3 trillion soums from the funds of the Uzbekistan Mortgage Refinancing Company JSC.

The document sets the maximum mortgage loan amount at 480 million soums in Tashkent city and 380 million soums in the regions. It is also planned to allocate 2.7 trillion soums for subsidizing mortgage loans.

It is reported that these funds will provide housing for over 73,000 families, and subsidies will be allocated to cover part of the initial payment and interest payments for nearly 30,000 citizens.
