The United States Department of State announced the imposition of visa restrictions on two Uzbek company executives and officials.

According to the statement, they coordinated the transportation of foreigners planning to immigrate illegally to the U.S. to transit points in Central America.

It is reported that some individuals transported through these persons, including minors, were later apprehended while attempting to enter the U.S. illegally.

The U.S. side emphasized that such situations pose a threat to national security and stated it will continue its fight against illegal migration networks.
