42 of our compatriots in Kuwait were safely repatriated to our country via Saudi Arabia by the Embassy of Uzbekistan.
This group consisted of 16 adults and 26 minors, who departed from Kuwait at 23:50 Tashkent time on March 9 and arrived at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on March 10.
Embassy diplomats assisted our citizens with border and airport procedures and provided the necessary organizational and consular-legal support for their flight from Riyadh to Jeddah.
Return air tickets for our 42 compatriots were purchased by the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan, and they will arrive in our Homeland on March 11 via the Jeddah-Tashkent flight.
This evacuation was organized for a group consisting only of family members, primarily women and children, due to the unstable situation in the region. Furthermore, only citizens whose safety is the top priority are being repatriated, as employers have not granted permission to suspend their work activities.
