Uzhydromet warned about the risk of mudflows and local floods.

On June 2–5, heavy rains are expected in a number of regions of the country, which may cause mudflows and floods in foothill and mountainous areas.

In particular, the level of danger is assessed as high in Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya, Samarkand, Navoi, Jizzakh, Tashkent, Namangan, Fergana and Andijan regions.

Responsible authorities are asking residents, tourists and drivers to be cautious. Citizens are advised not to go to riverbeds, streams and areas with a high probability of mudflows.
