According to the information from the regional Department of Internal Affairs, on May 6, on Mumtoz Street in the Urta Qishloq neighborhood, driver Q.Z. was stopped while transporting 58 pupils of the "Khadichabegim" kindergarten, operating under a public-private partnership, in a King Long brand minibus.

An administrative report was drawn up against the driver for violating passenger transportation rules. Additionally, preventive explanatory work was conducted with the driver and the kindergarten management.

According to the Traffic Safety Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, during raids conducted across the republic from May 1 to May 8, 125 violations related to transporting children beyond the norm in vehicles were detected.

Let us recall that on May 5, in the Nurota district of the Navoi region, the head of a kindergarten lost control while transporting 13 kindergarten children and a 3-month-old infant in a Daewoo Matiz, causing the car to overturn. As a result of the incident, the driver died, and the children were injured, with one of them falling into a coma.
