During his visit to Fergana, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev familiarized himself with the conditions of the IT park. This was reported by the press service of the head of state.
This facility was built with 150 billion soums of budget funds and can accommodate up to 200 users at a time. The park has created opportunities to train over 3,000 young people annually, involve them in practical projects, and provide IT services.
The center features a modern coworking environment for freelancers and programmers, as well as fully equipped offices for resident companies. Education, production, and service processes are interconnected here. The established infrastructure expands opportunities for young people to become self-employed and earn a stable income.
It is noteworthy that in recent years, the volume of IT services in the Fergana region has increased 4 times, with exports exceeding 23 million dollars. Currently, the number of IT Park residents in the region has reached 139. In 2025, information technology services worth 22.7 million dollars were exported.
Within the framework of the new park, the goals are to increase the number of residents to 200, create 700 new jobs, increase the volume of services, and achieve exports worth 30 million dollars.
In the future, it is planned to establish an artificial intelligence technology hub in this complex and implement projects aimed at digitizing management systems.
Additionally, modern training courses in artificial intelligence, programming, graphic design, computer literacy, and English will be launched. Venture financing, grants, and acceleration programs will be introduced for startups.
The President engaged in a dialogue with park residents and young people working in the field of information technology. The initiatives and ideas put forward by them were supported.
