A number of events were carried out by the General Prosecutor's Office, the Tashkent City, Transport, and Military Prosecutor's Offices, pursuant to the implementation of the Resolution No. PQ-139 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 16, 2026, "On measures for preparation and holding of May 9 – Remembrance and Appreciation Day".
In particular, on May 8, the leadership and staff of the General Prosecutor's Office, together with the Tashkent City Prosecutor's Office, the Military and Transport Prosecutor's Offices, as well as members of the Social Support Center for Veterans and the Public Council, visited the Victory Park.
According to tradition, a wreath was laid at the foot of the "Hymn of Fortitude" monument, paying tribute to the memory of those who died in defense of the Motherland.
