According to new poll results, support for a war with Iran in the US is declining even among supporters of Donald Trump's "MAGA" movement.
The share of "MAGA" voters who believe the war is worth the economic cost dropped from 50 percent in May to 37 percent in July.
At the same time, more voters now believe that the US should either continue its involvement in the war only if costs do not rise further, or end the conflict altogether.
It is noted that the decline in support may be driven by rising fuel prices, casualties among US military personnel, and concerns related to the economy.
