A man suspected of torturing his minor daughter was detained in the Kumkurgan district of the Surkhandarya region. This was officially reported by the regional Department of Internal Affairs.
It is noted that on July 25 of this year, a woman living in the Kumkurgan district appealed to law enforcement agencies, stating that her husband — Ch.B., born in 1993 — had committed violence against her minor daughter.
During the preliminary investigation, it was established that the video footage showing the man torturing his daughter and committing inappropriate acts against her was recorded on December 30, 2025, and later disseminated on social networks.
In connection with this incident, the Investigation Department under the Kumkurgan District Department of Internal Affairs initiated a criminal case under Paragraph "a" of Part 2 of Article 110 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The suspect has been taken into custody in accordance with procedural rules.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing within the framework of this criminal case.
