Uzbekistan's official international reserves amounted to 64.3 billion dollars as of August 1, 2026. The Central Bank reported this.
At the beginning of the year, reserves were 66.3 billion dollars. At the beginning of July, they equaled 63.76 billion dollars. Thus, in one month reserves increased by 0.72 percent, while compared to the beginning of the year they decreased by 4.52 percent.
Reserve assets in foreign currency increased from 7.4 billion dollars to 7.6 billion dollars. The volume of cash currency and deposits reached 5.9 billion dollars, up from 4.58 billion dollars.
Assets in the form of securities, on the contrary, decreased from 2.8 billion dollars to 1.7 billion dollars.
The value of gold in the reserves also increased. The figure of 55.7 billion dollars in July reached 56.1 billion dollars by August 1. However, the net volume of gold decreased from 13.9 million dollars to 13.8 million dollars.
Also, the volume of SDRs increased from 556.7 million dollars to 572.4 million dollars. Other assets in foreign currency outside official reserves increased from 102.6 million dollars to 196.3 million dollars.
According to the Central Bank, in July gross international reserves increased by 0.59 billion dollars. The rise in the price of gold from 4016.70 dollars to 4052.20 dollars had a positive effect of 0.49 billion dollars.
