It is reported that the visit of former US President Donald Trump to China did not yield a clear result regarding the issue of the Strait of Hormuz. Bloomberg reported this.
According to data, the Iranian side is not showing interest in easing control over the strait. Masoud Pezeshkian, however, stated that “effective and professional control mechanisms” would be implemented in Hormuz.
Meanwhile, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi emphasized that the strait should be opened more quickly.
According to the report, due to tensions in the region, the movement of ships through Hormuz remains restricted, with very few ships passing in the last 24 hours.
