In the Almazar district of Tashkent city, a citizen who illegally cultivated poppy-like plants in one of the residences was apprehended. The incident was identified within the framework of the "Koradori-2026" operational-preventive measures.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, during an operational event conducted in cooperation with the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Department, the Almazar district internal affairs bodies, the State Security Service, and the district prosecutor's office, another drug-related situation was uncovered.
When one of the residences in the Almazar district was inspected, it was found that on the garden plot, 160 poppy-like plants ranging in height from 20 centimeters to 1.5 meters were being cultivated.
In connection with this incident, the material evidence has been sent for examination in the prescribed manner, and legal measures are currently being taken.
