According to the visit program, in the city of Astana, the leaders of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan held a narrow meeting and the first session of the Supreme Interstate Council. A set of bilateral documents was adopted. The ceremony of launching joint projects took place.
The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, solemnly awarded our country's leader with his country's highest state award - the "Golden Eagle" order, in recognition of his significant contribution to strengthening the friendship between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
The leaders participated in the opening of the monument to the great poet and thinker Alisher Navoi in the capital of Kazakhstan.
Today, the President of Uzbekistan participated in the sixth Consultative Meeting of the leaders of the Central Asian countries and outlined the main directions for further strengthening regional cooperation.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev was solemnly awarded the Honorary Award of the leaders of Central Asian countries for his special services in developing friendship, good neighborliness, and mutual understanding in the region.
Within the framework of the summit, a meeting took place with the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, where issues of further strengthening bilateral friendship, good neighborliness, and strategic partnership relations were discussed.
After the conclusion of the visit events, the high-ranking guest was seen off by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Olzhas Bektenov, at the Astana International Airport. The leader of our state departed for Tashkent.
