In Israel, ministers are banned from using TikTok.

In Israel ministers and their staff are banned from installing applications controlled by foreign states on state phones. This was reported by zamon.uz here.

The ban specifically TikTok social network is also relevant. This bill was introduced by Knesset member Orit Farkash-Hacoen.

The ban is aimed at preventing the risk of stealing information from government phones. The mentioned countries posing potential risks include China, Russia, and Iran.

The bill was presented after discussions in a committee meeting that included National Security Council,  TikTok and the Privacy Agency representatives.
