A plumber who came to fix a toilet in Tashkent was detained for 5 days for harassing a girl in the house. darakchi.uz reviewed the court documents regarding the case.
It was reported that S.B. (a girl) approached the Yunusabad district IIA FMB on August 9 of this year, complaining that the electrician A.J. had sexually harassed her, touched her breast, and acted inappropriately, telling her when she resisted and asked him what he was doing, the man commented on her body being attractive, hence she requested action against him.
An investigation was carried out regarding this incident, and an administrative report was filed against A.J. This case was heard in the Yunusobod district court of the JIB.
During the court session, A.J. reported that he had gone to do plumbing work at the request of citizen T.D., that T.D.'s granddaughter S.B. was present in the house, that she had trouble fixing the toilet by herself and had asked for his help, and that they had shaken hands and parted ways after that. He stated that he did not harass the woman and asked for leniency.
According to the court's decision, A.J. was found guilty of the offense stipulated in part 1 of Article 41-1 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility and was sentenced to 5 days of administrative detention.
