The Ecology Department of Tashkent region's press service has announced the halt of illegal fishing.
It is noted that a citizen N.I. used a banned net to catch 30 pike-perches and 5 catfish. Documents were officially filed based on part 4 of Article 90 of the Administrative Code. One rubber boat and 150 meters of net were taken as physical evidence, and documents were sent to court authorities to recover damages amounting to 10,710,000 UZS for the state.
Furthermore, administrative protocols were officially filed against three citizens, F.G., T.Y., and S.A., for violating fishing regulations, based on part 1 of Article 90 of the Administrative Code, imposing a fine of 3,400,000 UZS on each individual.
