In the future, Uzbekistanis will also be sent to work in South Korea on an E-8 visa. This was reported by the Information Service of the Agency for External Labour Migration here.

The Minister of Poverty Reduction and Employment, Behzod Musaev, met with the delegation led by Kim Jong Do, the head of the Immigration Department at the Ministry of Justice of Korea. The discussion focused on sending compatriots who wish to work temporarily in Korea not only on an E-9 (non-professional), but also on E-8 (seasonal) and E-7 (professional) visas.

Furthermore, an agreement was reached between the two countries on the legal and safe implementation of migration processes, and on completely eliminating instances of Uzbekistanis engaging in illegal labor activities in Korea.
