Students can apply online to cover a portion of their rental payments. This was announced by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation press service here.
Based on the decision No. 605 of the Cabinet of Ministers dated September 24, 2021, students studying in daytime education forms at state higher education institutions and living based on rental rights were given the opportunity to submit applications online for the government budget to cover part of their monthly rental payment.
The application process is as follows:
- kontrakt.edu.uz registration is done in the information system, and access to the personal account is obtained;
- "Rental Payments" section is selected from the personal account;
- The "Submit Application" button is pressed, and the application is submitted.
For your information, first-year students do not need to provide a rental agreement for the months of September and October of the current academic year. However, from the second year onwards, students are required to have a rental agreement.
