A 21-year-old woman from Uzbekistan went to Istanbul following her aunt's invitation and ended up living on the streets, it has been revealed. The Consulate General in Istanbul city of the country reported this.
According to this, she came to Istanbul to work based on her aunt's invitation and found herself in a difficult situation. She lived on the streets for 2 days, without a place to stay.
The return of the 21-year-old female citizen from Jizzakh province to her homeland was facilitated.
"Her airfare and other expenses were covered by the members of the 'International Society of Uzbek Industrialists, Entrepreneurs and Scientists,'" – the report says.
