Russia and Uzbekistan will jointly mine and process coal.

Russia and Uzbekistan intend to implement a project on coal mining and processing. This was reported by "Sputnik Uzbekistan".

The project will involve Russia's "Inter RAO" company. 

According to Sergei Tsivilev, the Russian Minister of Energy, the ministers of energy of the two countries have requested support in resolving existing issues, including those related to this project, within the framework of the ministers' meeting.
