An illegal situation was exposed during rapid-preventive measures aimed at protecting the state border and ensuring its inviolability by servicemen of the DXX Border Troops.
It is reported that 4 polyethylene bags left by unknown persons were discovered on the bank of the section of the Syrdarya River passing through the territory of the Shodiqoziq rural citizens' assembly of the Beshariq district of the Fergana region.
When these bags were inspected with the participation of witnesses, it became known that they contained psychotropic substances smuggled from a neighboring country. In particular, a total of 47 kg 113 grams of "hashish" in 48 bundles and 7 kg 779 grams of "opium" in 15 bundles were identified.
Furthermore, 10,710 units of "Lidaza" and 756 units of "Tenoxicam" medicines were also found in the bags and officially registered in accordance with procedural order.
Regarding this situation, a criminal case has been initiated under Part 2 of Article 246 of the Criminal Code (smuggling).
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing. Necessary measures are being taken to identify the owners of the narcotic substances.
