Louisiana state located 114 meters tall Capital One skyscraper has been one of the most famous structures in Lake Charles city's famous buildings for more than 40 years, reports zamon.uz.
The building had been abandoned for a long time and had fallen into a state of disrepair following the closure of two storms at once.
The structure was built entirely of glass in 1983. However, this design could not withstand the natural disasters that frequently occur in the state. In 2020, consecutive strong storms caused serious damage to the tower.
In August of this current year, a hurricane left it in a completely unusable condition. It needed 167 million dollars for reconstruction, but experts preferred to demolish it and rebuild it for 7 million dollars.
