On September 16 of the current year, a video showing smoke coming from a "Mercedes-Benz" brand bus circulated on social networks.
According to "Toshshahartransxizmat", the malfunction occurred on bus number 171 operating on the "Bo'zsuv center – Chilonzor metro" route.
Preliminary information indicates that the bus was emitting smoke from the exhaust (silencer) due to oil leaking from the turbocharger part while it was moving along Bunyodkor avenue.
The bus driver noticed this situation and at 09:40 reported it to the duty officer of the "7th bus depot" branch, and the bus was immediately returned to the depot. It has been reported that the technical specialists of the "7th bus depot" branch are currently rectifying the technical malfunction of the bus.
On September 9, bus number 144 in Tashkent also caught fire. link
