Reports were published about Almalyk school students being poisoned by water here.

Students of the "Bukhara" specialized school in the city of Almalyk complained about poisoning due to consuming unfiltered water within the school premises .

Official information was provided by  "Uzsuvta'minot" JSC Press Secretary Akmal Murodov, according to the conclusion of four drinking water samples taken on September 20 at the "Bukhara" school by the Sanitary-Epidemiological Well-being and Public Health Committee of Tashkent region, Almalyk city department, stating that the drinking water meets the established standard requirements.

Furthermore, when information about the quality of drinking water was collected from the residents of this area,  it was found that they had no complaints or grievances regarding their health due to the drinking water.

"This indicates that the mentioned students' illnesses are not related to the drinking water.

Currently, inspections are being carried out by the Almalyk city prosecutor's office, the Children's Ombudsman, and the Ministry of Preschool and School Education regarding the situation. Additional information will be provided," – says A. Murodov.
