Cases of illegal use of energy resources were identified in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Kashkadarya region. The Ministry of Energy's press service announced this.
It is noted that in the city of Nukus, responsible persons of the “M.-Q.” LLC illegally connected to the natural gas network in a building under construction and used natural gas worth 165.5 million Uzbek soms illegally.
Similarly, in Kokdala district, the head of “F.B.” farming enterprise, Sh.F., and the manager of “R.” farming enterprise, J.T., were found to have illegally connected a commercial water pump directly to the public electricity network, illegally using electric power worth a total of 182.9 million Uzbek soms.
“Criminal cases have been initiated regarding these cases under Article 169 (theft) of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are being conducted,” says the report.
