A video depicting a Lacetti driver crashing into a metal barrier due to falling asleep at the wheel has spread across social networks.
According to the Regional Traffic Safety Department, the incident occurred on the 19th of June this year at around 5:40 AM, in the territory of the Oqoltin district in the Syrdarya region, on the 116th kilometer of the international importance A-373 highway.
The Lacetti driver lost control of the steering wheel, resulting in a collision with the metal barrier that divides the road.
As a result, a Yutong brand vehicle traveling along the same route collided with the Lacetti.
As a result of the accident, one passenger in the Lacetti sustained bodily injuries and was transported to the district medical association. Investigative actions are being carried out regarding the situation.
