A video depicting a school teacher beating a student in Kashkadarya widely spread on social media. The Kashkadarya regional administration for preschool and school education press service commented on the situation.
It was found that the incident occurred on October 9th of the current year around 10:30 am at the 33rd general education school in the Shahrisabz district. Apparently, after an English teacher, Ms. U.S. (female), emphasized to a 5th grade student, M.P., "not to disrespect other students" at school, student M.P. attempted to insult the teacher.
Subsequently, when school teacher U.S. tried to take student M.P. to the ethics room, her hand accidentally hit the student's nose, resulting in bleeding.
The student M.P. brought his mother to the said educational institution and a conflict occurred between the teacher and M.P.'s mother, — explained the school administration.
"In response to the situation, the director of the 33rd general education school in Shahrisabz district promptly contacted law enforcement agencies. Currently, the complaint by teacher U.S. is being thoroughly investigated with the participation of the responsible officers from Shahrisabz district PD", - says the statement.
The press service of the Kashkadarya regional PD also commented on the situation.
"Pre-investigation checks are being conducted by Shahrisabz district PD regarding this situation. Additional information will be provided", - states the report.
