“Measures to further develop the ecosystem of startup projects and venture financing” Presidential decree (PQ-357-number, October 14, 2024) was adopted. The Ministry of Justice reported about this.
According to the decision, the Digital Startups Program aimed at comprehensively supporting startup projects in the field of digital technologies will be implemented.
The following resident legal entities can participate in the program:
- startup projects that meet the following requirements:
- activity duration – from 6 months up to 7 years;
- total income in the calendar year – not exceeding 10 billion UZS;
- having a document confirming successful completion of an incubation or acceleration program;
- having a business model based on digital technologies, with high growth potential and the potential to enter foreign markets;
- registered on the startup ecosystem platform;
- participants of the startup ecosystem – venture funds and private investors as well as entrepreneurs providing acceleration and incubation programs for startup projects.
