According to the data from the Statistics Agency, as of October 1, 2024, there are a total of 399,031 small business entities operating in Uzbekistan (excluding farmer and peasant farms).
They are distributed across different types of economic activities as follows:
- in the trade sector – 151,265;
- in the industrial sector – 63,120;
- in the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sector – 35,069;
- in the construction sector – 30,329;
- in the accommodation and food services sector – 28,492;
- in the transportation and storage sector – 16,576;
- in the information and communication sector – 9,998;
- in the healthcare and social assistance sector – 9,674;
- in other sectors – 54,508.
