Due to the severe cold and prolonged precipitation, residents of the capital are encountering questions about the date for activating the heating system. According to some social media users, heating will not be available before the middle of November.
As reported by the press service of Veolia Energy Tashkent, a heating supply company, the heating system will be turned on following the relevant decision by the mayor of Tashkent.
The company also reminded that, based on the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, the heating season begins when the average daily temperature is below +8 degrees Celsius for 5 consecutive days.
"We will immediately inform you of the exact date when the heating system will be activated," assured Veolia Energy Tashkent.
