During operational activities conducted by the State Security Service in cooperation with the Internal Affairs and Customs authorities, over 6,000 potent drugs were confiscated. This was reported by the press service of the SSS.
According to reports, in recent times, the illegal circulation of synthetic drugs and potent medicines, which are cheaper than traditional narcotics, has been increasing. It has been noted that these substances are mainly smuggled from neighboring countries through illegal channels and sold covertly.
During one of the operational activities, a citizen born in 1974, residing in Fergana city, was found to be storing 3,580 tablets of the potent drug "Regapen" in his home for the purpose of future sale. These drugs have been formalized as material evidence.
Additionally, a person born in 1990, residing in Kokand city, was stopped and searched while driving a "Lasetti" model car traveling on the "Kokand—Tashkent" route. During the inspection, 2,520 tablets of "Regapen" hidden in the vehicle's cabin were discovered.
Currently, criminal cases have been initiated regarding these incidents, and investigative actions are underway.
