The "Beshkurgon" market in Chilanzar district has temporarily suspended its activities due to a gross violation of fire safety rules. The inspection revealed that the fire extinguishing system was not operational.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire that occurred at the market on April 5 was extinguished in approximately 2.5 hours. There were no casualties in the incident, but a large area was damaged.
During the inspection, a number of serious deficiencies were identified at the market and the fuel filling station, including a faulty fire extinguishing system. The complex's operations have been suspended until the deficiencies are eliminated.
