The assistant to the President, Saida Mirziyoyeva, conducted a meeting today, on October 21, with the head of the UNFPA's (United Nations Population Fund) office in Uzbekistan, Nigina Abbaszade. She posted about this on her Telegram channel.
It is noted that during the conversation, the main focus was on education, healthcare, and the development of human capital issues.
"We discussed the state program on combating cervical and breast cancer, as well as extensively debated the topic of maternal and child mortality. UNFPA has expressed its readiness to provide expertise and technical support to our country in these areas," — Saida Mirziyoyeva writes.
