On October 22, at 06:20 AM, a tragic road accident occurred on Bunyodkor Avenue in the Chilanzar district.
According to the Tashkent City DIA Traffic Safety Department, a driver born in 1985, S.K., driving a "Lacetti", hit two pedestrians — S.K. born in 1953 and K.S. born in 1960 — who were crossing the street at an unspecified location, lost control of the wheel, and crashed into a tree.
The driver and one of the pedestrians died at the scene from the injuries sustained, while another pedestrian, K.S., born in 1960, was taken to the hospital.
A criminal case has been initiated by the Investigation Department of the Tashkent City DIA under part 3 of article 266 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The investigation is ongoing.
