There are two manuscripts believed to be from the Samanid period, which have been translated word-for-word into Turkish. One of them is preserved at the Manuscripts Institute in Uzbekistan. However, it was copied in the 13th century. The Samanids were not around at that time. But the style of writing, decorations, and language belong to the 10th century art of writing.
Accordingly, Turks consider this Quran to be related to the Samanid period. Similarly, another manuscript believed to be from the Samanid period is kept in Iran. Professor Emek Uşenmez of Istanbul University mentioned this during his participation in the International Cultural Heritage Week.
