Trump is considering Senators Marco Rubio and Bill Hagerty, as well as former acting national intelligence director Richard Grenell as candidates for the position of Secretary of State. Politico reports this.
According to reports, Trump's former national security advisor, Robert O'Brien, spoke about this during lunch with conservatives.
It is noted that Grenell had previously participated in the meeting between Trump and Zelensky. He is known as an advocate of ending the war in Ukraine by freezing the front line and halting Ukraine's NATO membership.
Hagerty, on the other hand, voted against the bill to assist Ukraine.
