On August 5, 2024, the head of state signed a Law that is important for our compatriots.

Starting from November 8, the law awaited by millions of our fellow citizens on “Recognizing the rights to land plots and constructions and facilities built on them, which have been occupied without authorization” will come into force. The plan-schedule approved for 2024–2025 will initiate inspections by cadastral officers in neighborhoods based on this plan.

The Director of the Cadastre Agency, Farrukh Pulatov, addressed the citizens on this occasion!

"The purpose of my address to you on the date the law comes into force is to call for 'awareness'!

There are many honest people who have been intending to legalize their homes where they have lived for many years; however, there are also 'clever people' planning to profit illegally from the situation.

I urge you not to believe any words and promises from such unscrupulous individuals!

Firstly, neighborhoods will be inspected based on the approved plan-schedule. One does not proceed to another without completing the former, in other words, "there is no way to hasten the process!"

Secondly, after the inspection, more than 15 ministries and departments provide conclusions for each case entered into the “E’TIRAF” program, and analyses are conducted with the help of satellite images. In plain language, "you cannot bypass the process!"

Thirdly, during the inspection process, cases falling into 8 specified categories will be studied. Those currently planning to occupy land, build on it, and then legalize it will be held accountable, and these activities are also monitored through information systems. To put it simply, "connections won’t help!"

Dear compatriots, in any case, if you encounter fraud, solicitation, or corruption, report it to law enforcement agencies.

"Let's not forget that the fair and effective implementation of this Law depends on all of us," the address states.
