Israel and HAMAS have reached an agreement on Gaza. The Jewish state's The Times of Israel newspaper is reporting on this.
The draft form of the Agreement, reached as a result of negotiations in Egypt's capital city of Cairo, is ready. The Agreement will be officially announced on Wednesday or Thursday in a joint statement by the mediators of the negotiations, the USA, Qatar, and Egypt.
According to two officials involved in the negotiations behind closed doors, to the Associated Press agency, HAMAS representatives have accepted a draft agreement to stop shooting in the Gaza sector and release dozens of hostages. An Israeli official said that there has been progress in this regard, but details are being clarified.
The document is now being sent to the Israeli Cabinet for final approval.
