Germany will deliver 60 missiles to Ukraine. The missiles for the air defense system will be delivered soon. This was reported by zamon.uz here.
The missiles, valued at approximately 60 million euros, will be allocated from the reserves of the German Ministry of Defense. This agreement was reached during the visit of the German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius to Kyiv.
It was also reported that Germany will deploy Patriot defense systems in the city of Rzeszow, near the border of Poland with Ukraine, by the end of January.
“We understand very well the significance of Rzeszow as a logistics center, this area is especially important in providing assistance to Ukraine. I will personally go to Rzeszow in January and ensure the deployment of the Patriot defense systems,” — said Pistorius at a press conference in Kyiv.
According to media reports, it is planned to deploy two Patriot systems and 200 German soldiers in Rzeszow. Currently, there is already a Norwegian military brigade, a NASAMS defense system, and four F-35 fighter jets deployed in Rzeszow.
