Emergency Services saved two citizens, reports the Emergency Services press service.
Yesterday, on January 15th at 10:16, in the Shahrisabz city area, “Tutzor” MCA, on the side of the road, a report was received by the Emergency Services that two employees of the “Qashqadaryo Water Supply” company fell into a sewage pit for cleaning purposes and could not get out.
It turns out that in order to clean the debris stuck in the waterway of the pit, which is 3 meters deep and 1 meter in diameter, one worker descended and due to the rising water levels, he drowned and became unable to exit. Following this, his colleague descended to help him but also got stuck.
The Emergency Services rescuers, quickly reaching the specified location, saved the citizens with the help of special rescue equipment and sent them to the hospital to receive qualified medical help. They are currently under doctors' observation.
There were no fatalities as a result of the incident.
