Colombian President Gustavo Petro has allocated his personal aircraft to bring back Colombian migrants from the US. This was reported on the Colombian President's office page on social network X.
It is reported that the president has also called a meeting of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) to address the migration crisis. An extraordinary meeting is expected to take place on January 30.
Furthermore, Gustavo Petro has instructed the Minister of Industry and Trade to increase the tariff on products imported from the US by 25 percent.
