The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, received the founder of the "Lukoil" company, Vagit Alekperov, on January 30 .
The meeting discussed issues related to the implementation of projects in the energy sector of Uzbekistan by Russia's leading oil and gas company. This included carrying out geological exploration works, developing promising hydrocarbon fields, modernizing infrastructure, and developing the retail system of oil products.
Discussions were held on plans to expand the company's activities in our country. Special attention was given to training specialists and their employment, and the implementation of socially significant programs.
