According to Antonio Guterres, forcibly transferring people from Gaza is against international law. Human rights defenders condemn ideas like ethnic cleansing.
"We must not aggravate the situation while looking for solutions to the problem. It is important to remain faithful to the principles of international law. We must not allow any form of ethnic cleansing. I also reiterate our position on the concept of 'two peoples - two states'," — Guterres said at the UN assembly.
