A man suspected of killing his wife has been arrested in the Tashkent region. The "Millar" TV program report announced.
It was revealed that a woman born in 1997 died 10 days after returning to her father's house due to constant quarrels. On the night of February 8, her husband, born in 1992, went to her parents' house, took her into his car and drove her away.
Subsequently, the woman's body was found in the territory of the Olmaliq city. A man suspected of killing her has been arrested.
"Her only illness was money. She needed money for her medication. Her mother-in-law was also constantly nagging her. My daughter had to earn money for them. She was their breadwinner. Despite being issued a protection order, he forcefully entered the house. I want him to receive the most severe punishment. He came to the house and deliberately killed my daughter, leaving the children orphaned," — said the mother of the deceased.
"When we went to the in-laws, saying there were fights between husband and wife, they would reply, 'Well, he's not killing her, is he?'" — said the woman's mother.
According to the Prosecutor General's office, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 97 of the Criminal Code (Intentional homicide). The suspect has been detained in procedural order, and the investigation has commenced.
