Currently, Fergana region's agricultural and industrial products are exported to more than 50 countries worldwide. This was reported by the regional administration's press service.
Fergana region is among the leading areas in our country in terms of fruits and vegetables export. In particular, Russia and the CIS countries occupy a significant share in this direction, and expanding the scope and scale of cooperation in recent years has been defined as a priority task.
These days, in the city of Novosibirsk, Russia, the "Asia-Siberia" trade complex was ceremoniously put into operation. This serves to further increase and expand the export potential of our country, as well as the regions. The trade market, with a total area of almost 130 thousand square meters, includes about 30 refrigerated warehouses, temporary storage warehouses, reefer containers, a hotel, and a cafeteria for entrepreneurs.
- The wholesale trade complex, built based on modern standards, provides our entrepreneurs with a convenient and safe working environment and the opportunity to find reliable and long-term partners, - says the deputy head of the regional Plant Quarantine and Protection Department Eldor Tursunkulov. - We believe that the new market will help establish beneficial relationships with new buyers, facilitate product transportation, ensure quality storage, and consistently supply Russian brand retail chains with the necessary products.
At the opening ceremony, the delegation from Fergana region also participated, achieving promising agreements on the export of agricultural products.
