The law (Law number URK-1041, dated 28.02.2025) introduced some amendments and changes to certain legislative documents. This was reported by the Ministry of Justice.
With the law, amendments are introduced that envisage an increase in the amount of the one-time monetary award for individuals awarded the "Honorary Donor of the Republic of Uzbekistan" medal, concerning the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan on “Regulation of Free Use of Urban Passenger Transport” and “Donation of Blood and Its Components”.
In this regard, it has been established that individuals awarded this medal will receive a one-time monetary award in the amount of 15 times the basic calculation amount (5 million 625 thousand UZS).
Previously, it was 5 times the basic calculation amount.
Moreover, they are granted the right to use urban passenger transport (excluding route-based and non-route-based taxis) for free, to take their annual labor leave at a time convenient for them, and to receive vouchers for treatment in sanatorium-resorts without waiting in line.
The law will come into effect from the day it is officially published.
