How many days off do Uzbekistanis have for March 8 and Navruz?

Official information regarding the days off during the holidays was announced.

Reducing poverty and the Ministry of Labor announced official information on the number of days off for March 8 — International Women's Day and Navruz holiday. 

March 8 (Saturday) — International Women's Day;

March 9 (Sunday) — a day off;

March 10 (Monday) — a day off for those working a 5-day work week, a working day for those working a 6-day work week;

March 21 (Friday) — Navruz holiday;

March 22 (Saturday) —  a day off for those working a 5-day work week, a working day for those working a 6-day work week;

March 23 (Sunday) — a day off.

According to Article 208 of the Labor Code, if a day off falls on a public holiday, the day off is moved to the next working day.
