During the visit to Paris, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, was awarded the highest honor of the French Republic - the Legion of Honor medal. This was reported by the Presidential press service.
The high award was solemnly presented to our country's leader by the President of France, Emmanuel Macron.
The President of Uzbekistan was deemed worthy of this medal for his significant contribution to the development of cooperation between the two countries, and strengthening the friendship and mutual understanding between our peoples.
